1. Educate Your Family
The first thing to do is educate your whole family on the effects on your teeth of consuming a lot of sweets and high sugar candies. The best option of preventing tooth decay after eating too much candy has always been to brush your teeth immediately after eating. This will prevent the acid from being formed in the first place.
